Besonderheiten der .osaka-Domain

.osaka-Domains können natürliche und juristische Personen nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen (sogenannte NEXUS Requirements) registrieren. Eine Registrierung erfordert, dass Sie sowohl zum Zeitpunkt der Registrierung als auch danach eine Verbindung zur .osaka Community nachweisen können. Mit der Anmeldung versichern Sie, diese Voraussetzung zu erfüllen. Ein Nachweis ist bei der Domain-Anmeldung nicht erforderlich. Die Vergabestelle behält sich eine Überprüfung zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt vor. Falsche Angaben können zu einer Suspendierung und Löschung der Domain führen.

Eligible Registrants include, but are not limited to:

- Osaka municipalities and local governments
- Public and private institutions in Osaka Area
- Organizations, companies, and other businesses/entities in Osaka
- Residents of Osaka
- Others who have a legitimate purpose for registering and using a “.osaka” domain

To register and renew a .OSAKA domain name, the Registrant must be an individual or legal entity with a bona fide presence in the Osaka area of Japan at the time of registration and thereafter; in other words, registrants must ensure they remain in compliance with the Nexus Requirement at all times. Registrants must be able to prove that one or more of the criteria set forth above are satisfied.

Enforcement

Registry periodically checks domains after registration to ensure continual compliance.

- Registry will randomly select domains to perform random spot checks.
- Registry will investigate domains as a result of specific complaints received directly from third parties.
